Seidel has an annual capacity of more than 450,000 meters for the production of cylinder tubes in lengths of up to 11,500 mm and diameters of 40-300 mm. These tubes are produced on our state-of-the-art CNC-controlled machines, including machines specially developed by us. With over 30 years of experience in the internal processing of tubes, we are experts in this field.
Our production technology of peeling and roller burnishing enables us to process the internal surfaces of tubes precisely according to the wishes and requirements of our customers. We generally use drawn precision steel tubes with defined internal diameter tolerances, also known as HPZ tubes. In addition, we are able to produce high-strength alloy steels, hot-rolled/stainless steel and aluminum tubes to meet the various requirements.
Our combined peeling and roller burnishing tool enables us to achieve a roughness depth of 0.2 µm and better to meet the highest quality standards.

Contract manufacturing

We are also happy to offer our expertise in the manufacture of cylinder tubes and piston rods on a contract basis. You supply us with your material, tubes or solid material, and we manufacture the ready-to-install component according to your requirements. We also prefer pre-welded cylindrical pipes (with covers, flanges, etc.) up to a length of 12,000 mm.

Our high-volume circular sawing center manufactures components with interlinked tube end machining according to drawings, including cross drilling according to customer specifications. Fully automatic, high-precision and efficient production of components with diameters from 30 to 155 mm and lengths from 30 to 3,000 mm. These can be automatically measured and recorded on request. The intelligent linking of the individual processes and the high cutting performance of the machine ensure a high degree of flexibility and extremely short delivery times.
